Valley Jerte (Caceres) is one of the most beautiful and enigmatic places in the Iberian Peninsula, with beautiful scenery, hiking trails and swimming areas with spectacular natural pools.
 
Given its strategic position, from there you can visit Plasencia, The Valley of Ambroz, La Vera, (where Garganta is the pot and the famous Monastery of Yuste), the natural park of Monfragüe and the very important monumental cities, Caceres and Trujillo .
 
The Valle del Jerte (Caceres) is ideal for rural tourism, highlighting routes Gorge Nogaleas (with beautiful waterfalls) in Navaconcejo and the Garganta de los Infiernos, with a swimming area, Pylons composed of puddles on rock abraded.

In terms of natural heritage, the "Garganta de los Infiernos" Natural Reserve stands out, the only Natural Reserve in the network of protected areas of Extremadura with an area of ​​almost 7,000 hectares with a spectacular landscape where the erosion caused by water in the Granite rocks have resulted in large number of waterfalls, streams and natural pools, hosting the reserve a significant number of endangered species.
 
All the towns of the Jerte Valley (Cáceres) have in common a gastronomy based on the products derived from the pig and the cherries, with denomination of origin "cherry of the Jerte". Among its typical dishes are the goat, the migas, calderetas and the "patatas revolconas".

The Nogaledas gorge Rute is a hiking route that runs through the spectacular waterfalls that the gorge has along its route.
